For some reason the smilies on my site have stopped being replaced with their images in topic.asp....
See http://www.draft.techrescue.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=703

I upgraded from 3.4.03 to 3.4.05 added a few mods and noticed the smilies had a problem. I have searched and searched both the code and this forum with no luck finding the answer

Can anyone please suggest where I can look to find the answer to this problem? I know I am going to kick myself when I find out!

My database was retained from the 3.4.03 version and I uploaded all the new forum pages etc except for config.asp (As suggested in the upgrading forum). Could it be a problem in that page?

Mods installed are Avatar, My Avatar, Message Icons, Active Users & Site Integartion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Chris

Is the database table correct? Run the dbs file and then the check forum option in admin panel.

Which dbs file should I run?

I have run the 'Check Installation' option in the Admin Section which ran successfully although the smily icons are still not appearing in topic.asp.

Regards
Chris

I might be on to this problem. I believe it might be my old config.asp file causing the issues.
Will report back whentested with new config.

It seems it's not converted the code for the smiles, check the javascript code in inc_code (i think, i am out and I cannot access the files, or it could be inc_javascript, I don't remember) and inc_func_common.

Fixed!

Completely my fault, I had a duplicate function included in my custom header from the site integration.

How much time have I wasted on this!

If you learned something from it then I wouldn't exactly call it wasted time.
