Ok I have come across a couple of things tonight. First when I go to change the values in the Active Users section of the admin panel it keeps resetting to the old values. Any idea why this happens or is there something else I need to change in order for those changes to take effect and stick?
Also, when changing the colors etc on the forum I've somehow lost the divider line that is between the sigs and the body of the post and also around the quotes. We spent over two hours changing colors one by one trying find it to fix it and put it back with no luck LOL Can you tell me where in the font/color panel I find that one, which line I need to change the color of so we can see that again? Or maye it's not showing up because we're using a black background and the lines are black? It's driving me batty LOL

Thanks and spanks

1) check you have copied all the neccessary code into config.asp
2) with sigs the likely hood is that you havent got signatures set to 'dynamic signatures',line will only appear if sigs are set to dynamic signatures in the admin panel.

Q.2 I thought the line betweent he sig and the text was a simple horizontal rule?

This button creates the code for it in the fourms:

But to write it in HTML, its just a simple <hr> if I'm not mistaken.

Ok turning on the dynamic sig option didn't work. The line is still missing. We spent well over two hours going through one by one of the colors last night changing each one to yellow and the line at the top of the post and above the sigs never came back. Really it isn't an issue if the members decide to use colors for their sigs but when it becomes a problem is when a previous post is quoted and there's no visible lines dividing the quote from the posters text. It can tend to get a bit confusing.

The line does not haver a colour, it is a horizontal rule. It sounds like you have removed the code, all it was looked like this; <hr>, very easy to delte by accident
