Firstly apologies if I've missed the answer but couldn't see in any documentation or in the forum.

I want to have three fourms with different authentication.

1st only a specified user group has access and can view. - Fine done.
2nd an area where posts can be viewed and but only made by selected users. - Fine.
3rd a forum where its moderated but open, no need to register. Is this possible? When I test a user always needs to register. I can't see a way of this not happening so wanted to confirm this is the case and Snitz is written this way.

Thanks.

Answer to 1:
Yes. Go into the admin options and click on Feature Configuration. The turn on Private Forums. On the main page (click on default.asp) and on the forumyou wish to change click on Forum Properties. And choose the appropriate level from the list.
Answer to 2:
Not that I am aware of but I do believe there is a mod available. Run a search on Read-Only in here and you should find it. (Note click the view Archived Posts) I know it does exists but it is a Beta and untested mod.
Answer 3: Go to SnitzBlitz and download the following mod. This allows nonmembers to post:
