Hi,
I noticed this issue on my forum:
If A posted a topic and then B posted after A. When A went back to edit his post, the Last Post date and member id became A instead of B. Since A did not post a new one, shouldn't the Last Post still be B, not A?
Is this a bug or by design and how could I modify it to show the real last post?
Thank you very much. |

This is done by design so attention is drawn to edited posts which people may not otherwise read. Can be confusing if you're not used to it but, in time, you will come to find it as convenient as the rest of us do. Of course, if it's really annoying you, a couple of quick edits to post_info.asp should get rid of it for you - don't have time meself right now to go digging into it, though, I'm afraid.

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

I will take a look and start from post_info.asp. I checked the default.asp and forum.asp and did not find something obvious.
Thanks.
