I've setup the Snitz forums for our new site but still have a question. Our previous boards didn't have any type of user authentication. We had one individual who posted nasty stuff about our company, cussed all the time, real sick stuff. My hopes with the new board was that it supported some sort of e-mail authenication.
I noticed anyone can register, but it doesn't come back and authenticate the e-mail and verify that the login came from them.
Is this a feature that's available? I could register that guy's e-mail address as a user, but if he figures out it's not really checking, and puts in a fake one so he can post, we're back to square one.
Each are different "flavours" around the same idea. They send the password to the email that the user registered, and won't be able to log in to the forum until they get thier email.
