The Poll Mod is installed. But when I edit the forum to allow members making polls, it does not save the changes.

The "Polls Permission:" allways says "Don't allow polls"

I've tries several forums but no luck.

When I configure the poll setup in the admin section it DOES save the changes.

Any idea of what's wrong?

I am having the same problem. When I edit the forum to allow members to create polls, it looks like loads post_info.asp, but all that is displayed is a blank page under the header. I've checked post_info.asp and my other files a number of times with Beyond Compare, and can't seem to find the problem.

Ideas?

I am having the same issue - Polls Permission always displays 'Don't Allow Polls' in the dropdown. It seems that NO ONE is paying any attention to the fact that this mod is broken. People have been posting that there is a problem for two weeks now.

I've checked the database and F_POLLS in FORUM_FORUM does not get changed from 0 to 1. Anyone understand how admin_poll.asp works? I've been trying to read through it, but I'm a bit confused. I'm not sure how an update call to the db is made.

I'm sorry, but I don't create broken mods! That would be a waste of my time and a waste of your time! And I'm not here to waste peoples time! I don't see why you are so quick to blame the mod.

Now what problem are you having?
- If you have some problem with turning on polls, check that you added all the code to your config.asp file.
- Run setup.asp, just in case, so it initializes the variables.
