I am close to a complete dummie on Snitz , but thanks to excellent help from ruirib , I managed to get my forum running. (see www.fr2000.space2u.com/forum) For most registered users it works fine, but for a few (at least two, maybe more) the following problem occurs. When they log on, they get the message that they are sucessfully logged in but after one or a few seconds they are returned to the login screen. To me it seems as if it has something to do with their Internet Explorer settings, but I cannot find out what. |

Make sure those users have cookies enabled within their browser settings |
Sadly, most Family Court Judges wrongfully reward opportunistic gold diggers that use our children unjustly as "instruments" of power.

Once that happens, ask them to delete their cookies, close all browser windows, and then try again. An alternative would be to have them override default cookie handling for your site, by adding your site to the allowed domains, in Tools->Internet Options->Privacy-> Edit.

Hi all, and thank you for your advice!
Today, suddenly the same thing happened to me! So i cleared all cookies, ran virus and spy-program check and restarted, without result.
I normally enter the forum via another site (www.fr2000.org, click Forum, then click the logo at top), which is on a different web hotel than the forum, and opens the forum in frame within that site. This has worked for me until now and then sit uddenly stopped working! Since last login I have installed a program using Access 2003, but made no other changes that I am aware of. Can that have made the difference?
If I go directly to the site where the forum is located (www.fr2000.space2u.com/forum) it still works! And that is exactly what at least one of the users whith the problem told me would work.
Can anyone explain this?
I will try to change the first site so it opens the Forum in a new window instead, to see if that helps. |

Hi again! I just edited the first site so it opens the Forum in a new window instead, and that of course did the trick. But I would actually prefer to keep the visitors at the fist site and still open the forum within an internal frame, if possible.
Podge! I adjusted my clock to nearly exact, but it did not help, unfortunately!
Anyone knows what to do about this?

Has anyone managed to sort this one. I seem to have stumbled onto the same problem. There must be a way to get this working within the frame. |
