Let's see if I can explain this. I managed to install the Points mod (Yay!) and thanks to Medic397 I am able to display the Points underneath the Posts. This, however only works for the replying member.
When you look at the topic starting author, you will see posts and points, but no numbers displayed. Where did it went wrong?

Here's Medic's code I used (Scroll to the center of the page, you will see his code with a lot of red fonts):
http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=45879&whichpage=3&SearchTerms=points%2Cmod

Here's how it looks on my forum, notice the author's post and points are not displayed:
http://www.illhill.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9714

Please let me know where I went wrong and were I can edit the Author's part.

Thanks in advance!

Dominic

Dunno but adding to the FAQ about the "points MOD" may be a little helpful for the members you have, along with the new members you'll no dout be wanting.

Good idea! I will add that to the FAQ.
Also, soon as I fixed the issue I posted I can
turn this in a mod, since there hasn't been progress
in a while for this mod.

Thnx

Dominic

See this post http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=33928 , Medic397 left some things out. This shows you where to add code for topic and replies.

Thanks cripto9t, I forgot to mention that I found the change Medic missed when I added his changes, so I have the 6 changes Hamlin describes in his page.
Sorry, forgot to point that out.

I can post the code if you like, just let me know and I will upload it.

Any other suggestions at what the problem may be are of course welcome.

Greets & thanks

Dominic

Come on people, I only have to know in which part the post and points from the author get dsiplayed, if you want I can post up my code in txt format. This is the last little bug and after that I got the whole mod bug free for everyone who wants it.

Greets & thanks,

Dominic

Another problem that seems to be there is the fact that membernames made up out
of multiple words will be displayed on new lines.

Example: ILL H ILL becomes

ILL
H
ILL

Any solution for that?

/\ This only happens in IE, in Mozilla the names are displayed right.

Anybody interested in viewing my code? Let me know so I can post it up.

Thanks

around line 800 or so:

	if strCountry = "1" and trim(Member_Country) <> "" then
		Response.Write	" <font color=""" & strForumFontColor & """ face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """><small>" & Member_Country & "</small></font><br />" & vbNewLine
	end if

that's where you want it, right? displayed below the country name?

if you don't want a particular line to wrap, you can add nowrap to the surrounding tag like so:
<div style="white-space:nowrap">This text does not wrap</div>

Thanks Red, but what I mean is, "Points" and "Posts" are already displayed, the crazy thing is that only the ammount of points and postst are shown of the repleyer.
When you look at the original authore you will only see:

Posts
Points

But no ammounts.
Example, look at topic Author: http://www.illhill.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9714

Also, the name wrapping, I don't know if that's the solution, since it occured since the Pointsmod was installed and only happens in IE (only browser where you can see the "glow").
I will still check that nowrap issue out though.

Thanks for the help!

Greets & thanks,

Dominic
