I have spent many hours adding various MODS to my forum to get the functionality, look and feel just right. I would now like to create a new forum for a completely different subject.

My question is how do Start a new forum and keep all my modifications? I don't want to have to put ever single mod back into a blank template?

I did try just copying the forum and creating a new database but when I ran the DB setup and did strange things to my existing forum. I had copied the forum files into a new directory in my web space. I have no idea how it managed to find my existing forum and change the settings.

What is the correct way to do this?
Can I run two forums in the same web space but in different folders?

install a new, blank Snitz Forum with a clean DB. Run all the DBS files from the old MODS you added to the other forum.
Once this is done you need to copy the old files from the old forum, put them copied files into a new folder and link to the new DB you have just run the DBS files on.

This should work. If you still pull some errors, post here for more help.

If you're running two forums on the same site you'll also have to make sure cookies are set to 'forum' on both and not 'site'.
