Hi, I can view users pending activation through the admin section. Account activation is email orientated (ie admin do not have to approve it). Everything works ok, but i have a couple of accounts that have been pending for some time (over a week). I can get their email adress (have installed the pending member profile mod) so i could just email them from my own email add. BUT, i want the option to send it from the server email, my.name@website_domain.com
In short...When i view the member list, i can send email using a popup window generated by the forum. Can i enable that for pending members?
Thanks Rob |

You can search the MOD W/Code forum or snitzbitz.com. That issue is recurring, so it's possible that there is a mod, but I don't pay much attention to mods, sorry. |

I installed the Email Reminder to Pending Members mod. It does not allow you to email each pending member one-by-one but you can email a standardized reminder to the whole list with a single click.
It was super easy to install too. |

thanks taropatch,
ive installed the mod, but im getting an error when i press 'send reminder'...
quote: Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Could not use ''; file already in use.
/forum/admin_accounts_pending_reminder.asp, line 57
Line 57 reads quote: c.open strConnString
Any ideas?
