does the "who's inside" mod an have a time setting anywhere, as if the user does not move from the topic there name disappears after a few minutes, I was wondering whether there was something I could change to make it stay longer? the reason being is we have a java Chatroom and would like the name to stay for up to an hour so other members can see whose in the Chatroom.
I have had a look in the inc_func_whoisonline.asp but cant really see anything that I can change, any help would be appreciated thanks in advance |

Hi Podge, I think you may be referring to active users? as I know that can be configured in "config active users" or do you mean you have the "whose here" mod installed with admin settings for it? (they are both separate mods.) |

Hi Podge, I've also done a search but cannot find the mod at all (mind you the snitz search here is pain of late), I have found various references to it on other forums but not enough info, here's the inc_func_whoisonline the code that writes out the "also here"
I'm not sure if it uses the active users or a separate thing altogether as it times out after a certain number of minutes |

thanks for the info masterao, I'm wondering whether it would be possible to maybe change inc_func_whoisonline to read from the active users database table in some way so that the who's here will time out with active users users setting in the admin options, would this be possible and would would I need to be looking at to make the changes.
thanks, happy new you to all |
