Can somebody explain the phenomenon I am currently experiencing in all Snitz forums I visit (including this one)?
When I perform a search, the results are listed in a table as normal. When I click on a topic to view it, the table is about three times the width of the screen. I have to scroll to the right for ages to read the posts. If I view the topic by selecting it from the forum in the normal way, it's fine. As I say, it happens on all Snitz forums.

It happens on two machines I use. One is with XP Home and IE6, the other is Windows 2000 Pro and IE6. On those two machines, the problem is invariable. Both machines are fully patched. On the machine I'm currently using (XP Professional and IE6), it doesn't happen, and as this is my main machine, I hadn't noticed it before. Just tried it on NT Workstation with IE6 and NT Workstation with Netscape. All fine! Another machine with Windows 200 Pro and IE6 works fine.

Most peculiar problem, because topic.asp is called whether you view a topic from the search list or from the forum list, but the problem only arises when you view it from the search list.
