Well, after more than three months of hard slog, the project that's kept me away from the rest of the interweb is finally complete, thanks be to jaysis! In what I believe to be a first for Snitz, Woo.ie is Ireland's newset online friendship & dating community.

I had started off with a "journal" of sorts, trying to keep track of all the mods used and changes made so's I could list 'em here but it just got too frickin' long! This is Snitz hacked to pieces - I've been through every line of code, tearing out redundant code & features and customising things to hell. The end result is barely recognisable as a Snitz forum.

Anywee, to the point of this post! Official launch ain't until next Monday but before that we need to get a couple of people test things out, provide a bit of feedback and help pad our membership out a bit (ay, a bit cheeky, I know. ). You'll find the site at Woo.ie and, if you sign up now, we'll give you free full membership until the end of the year.

As always, any and all feedback will be greatly received.

The navigation as a whole or just the left-hand panels?

I´m also very impressed by the features, and the way you have worked with the code to create a site very different from most other Snitz-based sites. Great work and I wish you luck with it.

Mainly just the left-hand panels... I say this because it took me a minute to find the actual forums (message boards)....

Yeah, the navigation is a little tricky, but actually for a site like this, I wouldn´t mind that much, since it invites for sneaking around everywhere the site.

Thanks, guys.

Ay, the forums aren't exactly the primary focus of the site which is why they're not up there and in your face besides dsiplaying the active topic count below the "welcome back" line on the homepage. Having said that, though, the message boards panel could probably do with being moved above the comtrol panel.

Ta, Marcel.

You mean the CSS or the actual tag itself?

The tag is already built into Snitz - have a gander at the extraTags function in inc_func_common.asp - all I did was add a button to inc_post_buttons.asp along with the necessary javascript to inc_code.js.

And the CSS goes a little something like this:
div.spoiler{
 background-color:#f4eaf3;
 padding:2px;
 border:1px solid #a107b5;
 color:#f4eaf3;
}

Cack! That still happening? Thought I'd gotten rid of that one once and for all! Ta, PeeWee, shall investigate.
