Hello,

If some of you have used Gmail, there is a feature called starred. A Snitz mod can be implemented.

Members can 'star' their topic and it will stored in a cookie. When they check the forum, his 'starred' topics will be just below sticky topics.

Do you guys think it would be a good mod?

I think it would be better than the subscription. In a busy forum, it is time consuming to search for your subscribed topic.

You mean to use it as a bookmark feature?

Yes!

Or a new icon to indicate which topic the visitor have posted/replied.

This feature is implemented in other forums.

I am interested to see if members here find it useful or not much of a use.

It sounds to me like you're wanting something that will set user-specific 'sticky topics' that people can configure themselves based on the the threads they'd like to view. I agree that this sounds like something worthwhile. It would probably take some sort of modification of the funcions having to do with normal sticky topics.
