ok...I will do that. WOW, talk about fast service...Thanks  Oh ya, I am gonna put forums on my personal snowmobile site and was wonderin if I should put regular ones and add mods or if there is some "pre-made" forums with mods included?

I uploaded the file you sent me back. I get the same error message when I try to edit my profile. I think it is the same message as the old file said. Here it is:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e07'
Data type mismatch in criteria expression.
/forum/pop_profile.asp, line 912
Any more ideas?

hmmm, ok just asking, you have an sql statement in your file called M_RECMAIL with this comment:
###### kerrycode for Email List # UPDATE in Edit ########
It looks for a RECMAIL from your form, but I couldn't find anything called RECMAIL.
So if you can comment out those lines in your file and see if that get rid of the error. Because nothing is being sent to M_RECMAIL. Unless you want me to send you with the lines commented out. It would probably quicker and I would be sure that it was done correctly.
I'll send it to you after this message.
But let me know if the original file from the zip works. Which I hope it would. Then I can narrow what the problem is. |

Glad you got it working.
I already posted a link to the site where you can download a fully loaded version of the snitz forum with most of the mods installed. And you can just customize the forum to your site.
There is another fully loaded version done by another of our moderators (Richard) but I can't find it. When i do I'll post a link to it. But you can use the link I posted before.
