The person that I am setting this up for wants this forum to be a private, members only forum.

In the admin, I've set the options to not take registration and to require login, but is there any way for the ADMIN to add users?

Under Admin Options go to:

E-mail Server Configuration and select the On for Restrict Registration

Users can then register, but it will only allow and Administrator to approve the registration so they can not do anything with-out the Admin approval. That also saves the Admin time filling in their details.

Or you can go to the Main Forum Configuration and select the Prohibit New Members to be On or Off.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,

David Greening

It does help, but it seems that that is more of a bandaid than anything. The site that this forum is going into is an association. It would be nice if the admin could simply add the member via the admin pages and go from there. Either way, I was hoping for a way around the picking through emails to see who really is a member and who is not.
