Looks nice, altough you might wanna make the background on the title image and the nav images transparent, so it dosnt white-out your page background image.

Nice start! Just like Da_Stimulator said ; I'd change the background of the images to transparent, plus change the tablecolour of the table containing the "© 1999 - 2004 Monasteropub.com" text in it to transparent.
A tip: There are 2 spaces between some usericons in topic.asp (between messagio privato and quotando )
Another tip: You might want to try to brighten the background a bit more ; I've had some difficulties reading the text with my laptop. If you make the gray a bit more bright, the contrast with the text increases.

But, as I said : a very good start!

Bello, forse dovresti inserire un'icona quadrata di fianco al nome monastero.. (una sorta di logo) per mantenere un giusto equilibrio grafico..
