Hi all

I would like to re-set my forum with respect to members and posts (but not all posts if possible) so that the forum can effectively be started again, but without me having to re-install everything...I have a large number of MODs installed.

What's the best way of doing this? Can I just copy all the files into a new folder and start again with the same forum, but in a new location - but what about the MySQL database?

Thanks for your help :-)

Further to my post above, would a simple solution be to delete all members (except from one particular country - how can I do this?) and then is it possible to archive a complete forum and then stop people from posting to them, and start completely new forums? I guess the archived forums will still appear on the homepage - is there any way I can stop this from happening - and then just have links to them elsewhere?

Starts with a NEW forums and NEW DB. Update the DB with all the DBS files. Then use the new DB thats been updated with the old forum code. Thats for post #1 anyhow.
