I run a forum for a group at my school, and occasionally we have posts on the forum that *must* be read by all of the members before they come to our next meeting. However, quite a few people don't check the forums more than once every two weeks. Is there some sort of way that a Moderator or Admin can subscribe users to certain topics? Also, I'd like for only the Mod or Admin to be able to unsubscribe them. This way, they will get emails about critical topics when they don't bother to check the forum. |

Hi Bill,
I know of a MOD that will do this but it is located on another person's site and not at SnitzBitz.
Does this sound like what you want?:
------------------------------------------------------
Mod Name: ADMIN/MOD Subscription
Description: Lets the Admin or Moderator add or remove subscriptions when editing cat, or forum.
------------------------------------------------------
You can find this MOD at the VAS Development Network Portal at this location: http://vasserver.dyndns.org:88/vasdn/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2019&FORUM_ID=47
Cheers,
Etymon
