also i have noticed that after adding the poll feature that i can not create a poll i have checked through this forum for answers and have done a html compare between the forum.asp files and they are fine so what next any help.
ok i now have that sorted thanks for pointing out friendly error duh all i have to do now is sort this dam poll out before morning when the client will be veiwing it
while i am here has anyone had experiance of inserting the classified mod and how did it go?
Here's a friendly tip that should keep you safe in the future: test on your own computer using the built-in server (PWS on Win98, IIS on Win2k and XP Pro) before uploading the changed files. That way, if you get an error, nobody'll know except you, and you'll have all the time in the world to fix things.
Take your time when you have to make changes to the files. Double and tripple check before you test things. And don't only look at line numbers if the readme file includes codes "around" the ones you have to edit, as line numbers will change when you're playing with the files.
