Hello. I am running Snitz version 3.4.03 on an intranet. Right now it is only open to the ITS Department. I am wanting the entire company to gain access to the forums. I have several categories, with only a couple that I want the general users to see. I have installed the user groups MOD with everyone that registers to auto join the "County Users" group. This group only has access to the few forums that I want them to access.
Now here are my problems. Number One: I want to turn on NT Authentication and have the users profile automatically created and auto joined to the County Users group. Is this possible?
Number Two: Right now if I turn on NT authencation and someone comes in with their domain user ID and Password, they can see all of the forums. There is a note for them to register before they can post, but they can browse everything. Any way to stop that from happening? |
