not until you put back both the META Copyright tag and the Powered By Logo/Text Link that you removed. Right now you are in violation of our Licensing Agreement and are using our forum illegally.

download the newest version:

http://forum.snitz.com/download.asp

and then look in both the inc_header.asp & inc_footer.asp files for the sections that have the following comments around them:

'## START - REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR CIRCUMVENTING THIS CODE WILL VIOLATE THE SNITZ FORUMS 2000 LICENSE AGREEMENT

'## END - REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR CIRCUMVENTING THIS CODE WILL VIOLATE THE SNITZ FORUMS 2000 LICENSE AGREEMENT

for inc_header.asp it looks like this (it's in there twice):

'## START - REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR CIRCUMVENTING THIS CODE WILL VIOLATE THE SNITZ FORUMS 2000 LICENSE AGREEMENT
Response.Write	"<meta name=""copyright"" content=""This Forum code is Copyright (C) 2000-05 Michael Anderson, Pierre Gorissen, Huw Reddick and Richard Kinser, Non-Forum Related code is Copyright (C) " & strCopyright & """>" & vbNewline
'## END - REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR CIRCUMVENTING THIS CODE WILL VIOLATE THE SNITZ FORUMS 2000 LICENSE AGREEMENT

and for inc_footer.asp it looks like this:

'## START - REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR CIRCUMVENTING THIS CODE WILL VIOLATE THE SNITZ FORUMS 2000 LICENSE AGREEMENT
Response.Write	"<a href=""http://forum.snitz.com"" target=""_blank"" tabindex=""-1""><acronym title=""Powered By: " & strVersion & """>"
if strShowImagePoweredBy = "1" then
	Response.Write	getCurrentIcon("logo_powered_by.gif||","Powered By: " & strVersion,"")
else
	Response.Write	"Snitz Forums 2000"
end if
Response.Write	"</acronym></a></font></td>" & vbNewline
'## END - REMOVAL, MODIFICATION OR CIRCUMVENTING THIS CODE WILL VIOLATE THE SNITZ FORUMS 2000 LICENSE AGREEMENT

if the edits you make to the files don't show up on your site, then your host might be caching the files somehow, or you are editing files in the wrong directory. This is something that should involve your host's support department. They would know better than us why the files aren't reflecting the edits you have made to them.
