I'm seeing this beautyfull forum only from yesterday: EXCELLENT!! I need that when an user post a new topic (or new post) in a forum, the moderator of the interested forum (and if possible the administrator too) receive an automatic e-mail notification. Is this is possible, where i set this?
Very thanks. |

First thing is you need to go to Admin options.
Once there, go to E-mail Server Configuration, and make sure that E-Mail Mode is On, and that you select the E-mail Component you can actually use.
Then go to Feature Configuration, look for General Features (it should be near the top of the page). Find Highest level of Subscription, and select the one you want (topic, forum, or category).
Last bit is the longest. Go to the forum's main page. There you have to edit Category/forum/topic, and also select the highest level of subscription.
That is it. |

Sorry.... now i've another problem. In my board I have some categories with some forums. Only one of these categories contains a forum that can be subscribe by the user. While I'm the admin, and I want to subscribe all the forums. If i set in the admin panel "Highest level of Subscription" the option "Subscribe the whole Board", also all the users will be in able to subscribe all the board... This never must happen! So, how I "admin" can subscribe all the forums (or Whole Board) without that all the users can do the same choice? |
