I run an online book site and my current cart doesn't have a facility to post reviews/ratings of each book. I'm sure that I can use something like a forum/guestbook to store reviews for each item. Problem will be I'll need lots of unique forum id's to cope with ISBN numbers.

Any suggestions?

There is / was a MOD for Snitz called 'Post Sticker' that let you add a message at the top of a topic which might do what you need it 'looked' different from the other posts.

You could add a field for the ISBN # to the database, what did you want to do with the ISBN number? If only for searching, you could add it to the topic as text maybe?

Probably better ways of doing it but an easy way would be to create a new forum for each book then use the simple slash mod to display the latest reviews

Can I create a new forum for each book on the fly? ie using the ISBN as somekind of unique id for each thread? Or would that entail setting up ALL ISBNs in the db first?

So many questions, so little talent. I'll get there...
