I have installed my own Snitz forum. And i have one question. Why do i have to disable Norton Internet Security 2003 (turn off firewall) before i can click the "Agree" button and register a new user. Including this forum
In all Snitz forum i have visited, i have to do following:
1. Disable Norton Internet Security 2003 2. Delete cookies in IE 3. Hit refresh in the browser 4. In worst cases i have to close all browser windows
Can i do something with this problem, i am not so happy about turning off my firewall.
It is because NIS prevents your browser from giving out the HTTP_REFERER variable which is required by the forums, This is very very bad of NIS and is why you should remove it from your computer and get a decent firewall like winroute
