A higher ranking for 'google bungle' is not what i call helpful, except for the purposes of this experiment.

The incoming google PR to deep linked page can only serve to help the page itself, and passes very little to the site as a whole.

If all I cared about was 'getting my site ranked higher' then dont you think I would have used the root url and link text other than 'google bungle' ?

There is NOT ALWAYS an alterior motive.

Either way it doesn't matter, the site already shows at the top for that particular search term.

Yes.... we've learned a little from this experiment, and am designing another one with the motive of giving us more precise information.

We've taken down the page now, so as not to attract more attention redbrad0... sorry, but I can't put links to your site... although, feel free to add it yourself to our links section.
