Sometimes people at my forum hit "reply with quote" but when they post, there is no message. As admin, I'm not sure if they just messed up or if some bug ate their message.

Do you see this on your boards? I know it'd just be speculation, but do you think it a user problem or some weird glitch in the posting process? Just curious.

Does it work ok for you ?

You can also create a normal user account and test it out in there.

Every time I've seen it, it's a user error. Most people learn how to do it really quickly, but the first few posts are usually scary and your average joe doesn't "get" the "slash to close, no slash to open" thing

Then it's fine If only a few people do it then it's either a very random bug or (more usually) it's just user error. I usually use PMs or IM, or just a plain FAQ or similar forum to help them thru.
