hi,
i've got my forum up but i cannot register new members. I am using version 3.4.04 and mysql server version 4.0.14.

every time i try to register a new member i get the following error:

ADODB.Recordset.1 (0x80004005)
SQLState: 42000 Native Error Code: 1064 [TCX][MyODBC]You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1
inc_func_common.asp, line 1418

i'm not one for programming and i don't know what this means. any help would be much appreciated.

Did you modify the code any at all? Have you installed any mods?
Did you delete the admin account that was created when you setup your forum?

so far haven't modified anything. i was just trying to get the registration working but no luck so far.
