I seem to have lost the 'whereami.asp' - is it possible to download as a single file?
If so - where?

Regards,
Hans

Don't you have the Snitz zip file? You can get it there...

I have reformatted the HD since SF upload - that's how I lost my .zip-file!

Thanks - got it. But now I can't find the help file ('readme') that explains how to use it!

(Had it yesterday, but wasted an hour this morning trying to relocate it!)

Hans

Why don't you just re-download the forum again?

Anyway, the readme is also available at http://forum.snitz.com/forum/readme.htm

I have followed the 'readme' intstructions - but as 'feedback' I simply get the 'whereami.asp'source code!?
Is the file 'executable' as is, or does it have to be 'compiled'??
Also, I'm uncertain about *where* in he 'whereami' I should change the db-name: Is it *only* in line 64 (before "is used as an example database name") -and/or elsewhere??

Regards,
Hans

Are you sure your server supports ASP (Active Server Pages)?
If you want to run an ASP file and it either shows the source or prompts you to download the file indicated that the server does not support ASP.

I just concluded a conversation with my web-acces provider: They had doubts as to the current functionality of their 'ASP module'!

Based on this info, I'll 'rest my case' until next week - when (hopefully) they report 'all systems GO!'

Sorry, if I have bothered some of you unnecessarily!

Have a nice weekend - I'll be back.

Regards,
Hans
