Greetings everybody

I was wondering, what's up with Snitz?

After the v3.4.04 version got released, I haven't noticed anything official and new happening. Is the project still alive?

This isn't a request for help, so I'll move this to the community discussions forum. Seems it will fit better there.

I think the technology has moved on to .net, but nobody wanted to do a direct snitz port, especially as there are several other good forum wares out there in .net world now...

A Snitz.net would be awesome. I still think it's one of the most versatile pieces of forum software around but version 4 of Snitz? I don't see it happening any time soon. Unless any of the programming team (?) know any different.

Great to hear and see the project is active, and that there are lots of folk enthusiastic about Snitz.

I went to look at the 'Competition' page here to see what is happening with other groups.

I can only think of a couple that match the features of Snitz and have such expandability / friendliness (and are free).

Looking at the list I think several have changed platforms now, so maybe it hasn't been updated for a bit?
