Is the SWF file password protected? If not, you should be able to edit it just fine. Of course if it is, there are programs to crack those passwords, but that wouldn't be legal...
I like the animation, but perhaps you should look at finding someone who could make something like it but make better. |

Ronnie: I'm as newbie as they come but I have been able to rely on people I've met through forums like this to help me. Any suggestions I would give would be nonsense other than to tell you that a guy named Christian Leeds worked his coding magioc to do the integration and he's also working on integrating Mr. Rat's Amazon store script in a similar way. I'm sure Chris would be happy to do the same job for you for a reasonable cost. I'm sure he won't mind if I make his e-mail address public: Dev@nedp.net. It's amazing to me that this whole community is so international: my template came from South Korea via California, Rank (above) who has offered to help with my Flash animation is Croation and I've had similar experiences with other projects. It gives me hope for the future of the world! |

Ronnie, if you want to show off your forums, please start a topic of your own in this forum, but don't hijack someone elses topic :)
Scratch that. I just moved your topic from the Testing forum to this one. Please continue in that topic about your site and keep this one for David's forums. |

Very nice looking site - just a few comments:
1. Header is too large - takes too much of the screen. 2. Flash in header is only seen my coincidence - you need to make it clear that there´s a actually a mouseover effect in the header. 3. Drop the effects when clicking from page to page - this was popular back in 96, not anymore. |

David, as to your enquiry via email: to move a topic from one forum to another, you must edit the first post in the topic while being logged in as administrator or moderator with rights in the forum the post is currently in. This will show the default post.asp page when you edit your own posts, with the addition of a select box (pull-down list) titled "Forum" which you use to pick the correct forum from.
Also make sure moderators are allowed to move topics to forums they aren't assigned to. |

Thanks, Roland. I hope I didn't break protocal by contacting you by E-mail. I thought it may not be appropriate to ask the question "in public." Thanks! |

I'm very happy to report that even before the official launch of GayRites.net that the editors at www.sitecritique.com have added the site to its "Hall of Fame" in the "Originality and Content" category, with 9 points out of 10. I hope it's a good omen! |

Also the forum can now be found on www.gayrites.net/forum/ with a slight face lift. |

That looks a lot better. The ony thing I noticed, which might be a problem on my side, is that the g in login at the very top of the page has the lower half cut off. |

I deleted the last 2 posts in this thread. This is not the place to discuss these sort of things. If you don't agree with the lifestyle choice of others, please find an appropriate place to voice your opinion, this site is not it. |
