I have tried to implement several differnt mods but I always have to revert back to the base forum because of errors. Is there an easy way to take this text and import it into the files? I use TextPad which helps with the line numbers but my eyes start to bleed after looking at all that code in so many files.
Also would anyone happen to have code with the Avatar, Poll, Spell Checker, and site integration mods? jk

Or ask around; there are people (like me) who have moded forums that can be sent to you (you can check mine, link in sig), it is the Speedball version that has private messages and avatars. |

probably the most useful tool i have ever found is a text editor called araneae,it has the line numbers on the side makes editing code a breeze, and its a free download, just do a search for it |

Of all the mods you listed I'd suggest you start with poll mod, it's the one with most file edits. I'd save Site Integration for last, it's the easiest mod to install.

Good advice ... I have a "fully" modded forum that was built with absolutely no ASP knowledge. Just go slow & easy ... You can do it! |
