I had this on so that I had to approve members, but for some strange reason it doesn't happen now, and I can't even remember where I change this so that it is on approval before being able to post, view boards etc.
where is it?  |

| For now, I have set my registeration to off while I wait for someone to help me figure out why it's allowing people to join without approval, which is what I don't want. |

| No problem. Just choose the option to activate the accounts, instead of just approving them and the accounts will be approved without emails being sent. |

| how do I do this? I have Require Registration on, Restrict Registration on, and if i don't have E-mail Validation on then it won't allow me to continue, what do I do? |

| reason why i turned e-mail mode off is because it gave me an error. how comes it can send e-mail? i thought i needed to have an e-mail server installed to do that, or does it do all that by asp? |
