A friend's computer has been experiencing a weird situation and I've been unable to find a fix. He keeps getting info about his browser not supporting frames, but he is running the latest version of IE, with all the fixes applied.

Has anyone ever faced this? How can it be fixed, besides resorting to restore the PC to factory settings and reinstall the whole OS (don't feel much like doing it!)...

Does he have to use IE ? Maybe install Firefox and then you have time to fix the IE problem ?

Have you checked the Security Settings? The current Security Settings could be restricting the use of frames.

Well Richard, I've checked it and the current settings do not restrict the use of frames.
I'm testing this with two sites, and one of them loads complety and then the page goes blank and a source code view shows the message stating the browser does not support frames.

I may try another browser, laser. I was just trying to find out if I could fix this thing. Also I hate when I can't find a solution for a problem. I know I'll just keep trying to do it until I get it working, other browser or not .
