I have had loads of users come back to me with this -

I have tried to register but it won't let me passed the terms & condition page. It keeps going back to it asking me to either "accept or cancel"

what could be wrong ????????

Its a problem with a program installed on the user's PC called Norton Internet Security. The link below will fix it for them.

I installed the NIS MOD, but people still can't seem to register properly...

My computer still plays up every now and again, even with the NIS MOD installed, no firewall turned on. I think this is due to me being behind a network hub. Maybr this is the same for your users?

No, they're not behind a network hub...

It may also happen that your "old" inc_header.asp is being cached at the server. Try asking your host to reset your site.

Could that be the only explanation? I am a member of a forum that runs it's own server, and there we had/have the problem too

AFAIK the Referer Mod fixes the problem with registration.

The problem can also be caused by changes in inc_header done by other mods. Just recently I helped someone in such a situation.

Could it because my forum is (apparently) in a frame?

After the addition of the Referer Mod, I don't think so. But you can post a link to a text version of your inc_header.asp file and I'll try and have a look.

I will double check the modifications I made first, and if that doesn't work I will give you a copy
