Hi,
is there any MOD available that will include the users IP address on the post?
Also, if there is, how could one get the REAL IP number to appear, rather than the one behind a proxy server (i know this is possible becuase there are sites you can go to to get your real IP address, rather than the proxy server one)
Please let me know if you know of a MOD out there that will do this.

Don't know about the second part of your question but, if people are hiding behind a proxy, they probably have very good reason to do so and don't wish for their IP address to be accessible to you or anyone else.
As for the first part of your question; by defulat you can view your members' IP addresses either by clicking the  above any of their posts or when you modift their profiles as admin by clicking the  next to their name on members.asp.

Hi,
Does anyone know anything about this (original post).
I am led to beleive that I have various users (same people) posting under different usernames, and rather than just start banning and deleting people without proper evidence (real IP numbers), I would like to get my facts right.
Our local ISP for most dialup and every single ADSL line uses a proxy cache so all the IP numbers appear as the same one (proxy cache server IP number).
Is it possible to do a lookup to get the real IP number?
For example this follwing link gives my REAL ip number http://www.urgentclick.com/whats_my_ip_address.php
But the following link, gives my proxy cache server's IP number http://www.whatismyip.com/
By default, then someone posts on the forum, the proxy cache number ip appears instead of the real IP number.
Can anything be modified to get the REAL IP number??
