I've installed snitz forum on my personal web server for testing. I've made some changes in the configuration and add in additional categories and forums in it. It works perfectly fine on my local web server. After that, I zip it and upload to the 1asphost hosting server. When i try to view my forum online, it seems to me that all the configuration I've set earlier has gone. I need to start all over again and do the configuration online. Anyone got any idea how to solve this? Thanks. |

Are you refering to the admin option online? The problem is, i can't even see the admin option on the page. The admin obtion is invisible to me, even nobody log in. However, at my local server, it's perfectly ok, i can see the admin option and go inside it. |

Did you include the database in the things that you copied to your host ?
1asphost always seems to do some funny things. You might be able to upload the ASP & GIF files as a ZIP, but upload the MDB file separately and see how you go. |

I have not tried laser's method yet. Maybe I need to upload a single database file and see how it goes. redbrad0, I have modifed the config.asp, and my forum is http://cc.1asphost.com/yeehuei/forum. You can only view the fresh copy of forum without any additional forums and categories, that is my problem. Thanks. |
