I just started using Snitz Forums and when I register a new user, if it is a normal user I get this error:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'
Invalid use of Null: 'cLng'
/talk/inc_func_common.asp, line 881
I I upgrade the user to Moderator, it logs in ok but I see no forum tables and above the forum header is this message:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'
Invalid use of Null: 'cLng'
/talk/inc_func_secure.asp, line 99
Only if I upgrade the user to Administrator I have no errors at all.
Can someone help me solve this problem, please?

| My version is Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.4.04 and I don't know if I have any MODs installed (how do I check?). My database was created with an SQL server not Access. |

| Just playing with it and found out that the problem must be just with the registration cause if I log in as the forum admin and open the member profile, even without changing anything when I hit submit and then log in as the user I have no problem. Also at members page instead of error as the title it changes to Starting member. What could it be? |

I also noticed that after I creat a category in the forum when they log in they get this message:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'recForumCount'
/talk/default.asp, line 406
and cannot see the category.
Please someone help me solve this problem. TKS |

I still get this message when a new registered user tries to log in

And in the members list their title is error.
If I, as the forum administrator, edit their profile, even withoput changing anything, when I hit the submit button, the problem goes away. And in the members list, their title turns to Starting User.
Can you help me?

Do you have any way to take a look at the F_PRIVATEFORUMS field in the FORUM_FORUM table? What value does it have?
If you can, take also a look at the definition of that field. Does it have 0 as a default value? |

| I just took a look at that field in the table. The value was empty and I changed it to 0 but nothing happened? Should I just delete the database and create a new one? How do I do that? |

Solved the problem! Forum work fine now. Just erased all the tables and created completly new ones. JOB DONE.
