Is there a mod that allows the Admin to move individual posts from one topic into an existing topic?
An example would be where one user starts a topic, and a different user starts a different topic on the same subject. Obviously one can be locked down and the users pointed to the other topic, but it would be nice if we could merge the two threads into a single topic. Also, it would be useful to weed out off-topic posts, and to move them into a separate, more appropriate, topic. |

I'm not sure that this would be a good idea. depending how many posts are in each topic, the one you transfer the other posts into will look very odd, since posts are ordered by post time all the posts in the topic will get shifted around so that someones reply to the previous post will no longer be imediately below it as you may have moved other posts which will slot in between it, so the topic is going to be pretty confusing. |

Used with that in mind it would be VERY useful! =) If the moderators are quick they can move the post before noone post again and then it would be no problem.
