| I have enabled the email settings and the registration email and sending email works. I have gone through and enabled the many places where subscriptions can be enabled and the links are showing up fine. When you click subscribe the links seem to be working fine as well. The problem is that no one is getting any subscription emails. |

I had this problem because I had the usergroups mod installed.
Setting forum access using the usergroups feature stopped subscriptions from sending emails. Don't know why, to solve the problem I stopped using the usergroup options to control forum access and subscription emails now work.
Haven't had time to investigate more, I needed it fixed ASAP. |

For the main setting the highest level is for the whole board. For each forum the highest setting is "topic subscriptions allowed"
The forum site is www.orthodoxforum.com if that helps any. You can see that the links appear so people have been telling me that they are subscribed but not getting any e-mails when there are new posts. |
