Hi,

I have received several emails from users stating that the link for them to click to activate their registration 'does not work' or 'is not there', for example...

"put in all my details as requested, then i was sent a confirmation email which said click on the link below, but there was no link on the page, can you help?"

"the link is not working how do i complete registration"

Every single user who has this problem emails me from an AOL email account.

Is this a bug? Or simply an AOL issue that I should just put up with?

Thanks,
Clare

It's not a bug ... it's AOL. It's also AOL users who don't read their email, especially this line...

quote:
If the link is split or broken, you will need to copy and paste the entire link into your web browser.

Thank you very much for your responses.

On closer inspection of my registration emails, it appears that they did not contain the line "If the link is split or broken, you will need to copy and paste the entire link into your web browser."

I am not sure why - maybe due to a mod I installed or the version I am using, however, I have added this line which should hopefully solve the problem!

Thanks again!
Clare
