M_NEW_EMAIL If you have e-mail validation turned on and a member changes the address the new e-mail address is held here until it is validated at which point it is moved to M_EMAIL.
M_HIDE_EMAIL If upi have e-mail functions turned off on your forums, members' e-mail addresses are displayed in their profiles for other people to contact them. Members can choose to hide their address when editing their profile and this value is held in M_HIDE_EMAIL.
M_RECEIVE_EMAIL If you have e-mail functions turned on on your forums, e-mail addresses are always hidden, replaced with a "Click here to e-mail ..." link. When editing their profile a member can choose whether or not people can e-mail them using that link and this value is held in M_RECEIVE_EMAIL.
M_SIG Holds a members signature.
M_VIEW_SIG With dynamic signatures turned on, members can choose whether or not to view other members' signatures when editing their profiles and this value is held in M_VIEW_SIG.
M_SIG_DEFAULT On post.asp and beside the quick reply box there is a checkbox for including your signature. By editing their profile, members can select whether this box is checked by default of not and this value is held in M_SIG_DEFAULT.
M_DEFAULT_VIEW You know, I'm drawing a blank on this one; I know I know what it's for, just can't think of it at the moment!
