What PDAs do people recommend checking out? I'm on a budget (not decided exactly how much it'll be yet, probably around £100 - so might be looking for second hand on eBay) but can't work out the differences between Palm Pilots and Pocket PCs (apart from the fact they work on different OSs).
Any help, comments and/or advice grately appreciated |

you can by a Fujitsu/Siemens Pocket Loox 600 for around £130 on ebay, for that price they are an excellent PDA, 400Mhz built in Bluetooth, CF + SD memory. I would have sold you mine, but a freind bought it last week.
A toshiba e400 for £120. 300Mhz onl SD expansion no BT
depends what kind of thing you want to do with it.
I now have a Toshiba E800, it has a 4" 480x640 VGA screen, it is amazing, it also has USB host capability so you can plug in keyboards and external drives well geeky |

Been happy with an HP iPAQ 2215 the last few months, it's nice and small but still got pleanty of power. HP are bringing out 6 new ones starting in July sometime as well I believe (including a tri band GSM + BT + 802 phone/PDA which looks like its going to be a winner). |

I'm on the same course at the moment as well, the iPAQ 2210/2215 look great, but I might push it to a 5-series. It will all depend on available cash at the time I decide.
What's the diff ?? I've had a Palm for years and have grown a bit depressed about it's abilities and connectivity. I had a test drive of an old iPAQ for the weekend and although it does less than I thought it would, it's still better than my Palm. Even the Windows-based PDAs will only run PocketPC designed software, but there's enough out there to keep you interested I reckon. |

Sadly, most Family Court Judges wrongfully reward opportunistic gold diggers that use our children unjustly as "instruments" of power.

I used to have an LG Phenom Express:
I liked the keyboard and the wider screen, but it was kind of slow and the screen wasn't the best. I bought it used for $60 and then later sold it on eBay for $440.
I'd like to get another PDA someday, but I would like it to at least have a keyboard like the LG Phenom Express had. |
