Whilst looking at another topic about Invision BB http://demo.invisionboard.com/ I viewed the source and noticed the following CSS code near the top
/* FIX IE6 Scrollbars bug - Leave this in! */
html { overflow-x: auto; }
Does anyone know what the bug is! I haven't seen anything documented.

Yes, I read something last week, and it refers to a problem in the way IE implements the box model. It may cause an unnecessary horizontal scrollbar appear at the bottom. This was happening in a website I'm working in.

I'm gonna try to find the URL for a page I saw that described it perfectly. I'll post it when I as soon as I find it.

Best Regards

I found it!

here you can find a general description in the box model bug. Inside the "A second example" section in that page you can see an example of the unwanted scrollbar "in action"

In the index page you can see a list of other bugs.
