Hi ya'll, I would really, really like to know how to inherit permissions for files under Windows 2003 Server. For example, whenever i put a snitz forum powered by an MDB file i have to set permissions to it manualy (read/write/modify), is there any way that i will not have to do this and the file will get the wanted permissions on it's own when uploading it?
Should you not be able to just add the read/write/modify permission to the directory that you store your database in, and allow the IUSR_<servername> account have those perssions.
I take it you are running more than one Snitz forum on the one server. I normally place all my DB's in the one directory and go from there.
