techknow ; I just can say have a look at the hall of fame, and at some other 'show off your forums' topics. You forum is nice, but definitely not outstanding. Start with finding the unique look and feel, by means of colorscheme and iconset. That will make a big difference. Now it looks like JASF... Good luck.
I agree with the advertising. Until you are able to get more traffic, just take them down. It's not worth it, not one bit. There is absolutly no reason for you to advertise yet.
