Hey all,

I have just finished setting up a new Snitz Forum installation at www.codeme.com. I'd welcome and appreciate any feedback regarding the customization. Also, if you had any thoughts on the forum/category organization, I'd appreciate that too! (i.e. Should I add/remove forums from the Web Languages category, Microsoft.NET category, etc.?)

So what do you think of the site, would you use it? If you're a coder, go ahead and ask/answer a few questions, help codeme.com get up and running!

Thanks for all your feedback and good luck with your forums!

Aaron

Looks good but there's alot of competition in sites like that, mostly http://www.experts-exchange.com/
There's something wrong with the formatting of the quick reply box by the way, the left column is too wide

Also http://www.codeme.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9 , the table formatting isn't right, the post should go all the way across

Thanks for your reply David, let me address these issues you've pointed out and then have you check them. I'll post a follow-up when completed.

Looks like this was just a simple Admin change, the Topic Right Column Width was set to 650 instead of 100%. Please view in your browser to make sure it's okay.

Your forum looks good to me. I'd change the red folders to match the dark maroon you use throughout, and get rid of the purple folders.

You've got good separation of the languages, which is nice.

As for the competition out there, yeah there's a lot, but who cares. Get your site up and running, promote the hell out of it, build a massive database of content, and in a couple years you'll be running with the big boys.

Thanks MRWebmaster, I'll take your advice on changing the folder colors and kicking ass with this forum!
