Hi all,

When I click on the new folder icon on the main forum page
to try to create a new discussion forum I only receive
the last part of the page. The page starts in the middle of
the user list. I checked the TCP/IP transanction and that's
all there is. The server only sent that amount of information.

We have a very large user base: 105000 members. I suspect the
problem is related to this.
Is there a change to the code we can make to fix this? We can't
easily upgrade unfortunately.

Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Geoff.

That's probably because of that huge user list. Do you have any private forums? Even if you do, you can just set Private Forums to Off, in Admin Options->Feature Configuration, create the forum and then turn it On again. Like this, there will be no user list and so the page will load a lot faster.

Hi Ruirib,

Thanks for that trick. It did indeed remove the user list
and all is well. Is this a problem in later versions of
the Snitz forums? We will be wanting to upgrade at some
point.

Cheers,
Geoff.

Glad you fixed it.
Yes, I think the problem will remain, since the lists are still present.
