Dear Richard, This sometimes happens when one of the disk volumes gets full. Just try a bit later. Best regards, Vincent _______________________________________________________________________ FREE DOMAIN NAME + premium web hosting = $6.95 ==> http://www.f2g.net

I received an e-mail from tech support of a previous hosting company I used saying my issue had been resolved. Of course it's close to a year that I have not hosted with that company. Needless to say that my hosting account there only lasted 2 weeks when I opened it. LOL

All Shared SQL servers are up and functional. However, some of the DSNs need to be re-created. We are working non-stop on the DSN requests we have already received and will have those completed tonight. However, if you have not visited http://www.hostingsupport.com/sql to have your database re-attached please do so now. Once we receive that request we will get the DSN re-setup as soon as possible and restore your database connectivity. Rest assured though, your database is IN TACT and there is no data loss to its container.
Thank you again for your patience in this matter and your continued support of our company.

I have had something about the same. A old hosting company that I used about 2 years ago keeps sending me emails about "Sorry for the network being down, we are working hard at restoring the server/HD. We will be issuing credit so please contact the billing department." I wonder if they will send me checks for the network being down |

I´m glad I have a great host - they usually reply within an hour, if there´s a problem, which is very rare... |

My hoster is excellent - IF there is a problem (that less than 1% of the time), email responses are fast; support forums are great; chatting on MSN is perfection |

26 months to reply to my email? Just imagine what their phones were like in that period! Thank you for holding. You are the 52,213th person in the queue. We should be with you in approximately 1,051,200 minutes. Please stay on the line...
Too funny Richard. |

The longest I had was to a provider to report a SPAMMER that I tracked down to their system to finally get back a read recepit for it after about 32 months and then asked if it was still required. Of course I replied, not. It's all about customer service.
[edit] As pointed out, to much of the easter cheer. Thanks Laser [/edit] |
Cheers, David Greening |

ok not anything to do with hosting but ive found a story that beats it... a post card sent on a foreign-exchange trip to france took 18 years to arrive at its destination (id guess the complete distance it had to travel was approx 800 miles max)... now i no ya call it snail mail but that jst takes the biscuit! |
