On monday I discovered the SNITZ forum...

Sorry to give only a snapshot but this is a professional and private forum. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all those who have developped this fantastic forum. Great tool!

More information of how I did this design :
1- I installed the basic zip file sf2k_v34_04.

2- I added the gradient MOD with a graphic I like (the violet gradient)

3-Then I added the MOD Front Page News.

4- Once this done I added the Site Integration MOD in order to integrate the coporate header and footer, and addition I wanted all non forum items to be put on the left, 25% vs 75%. This took some time but gives good result.

5- The main difficulty came from the News Events calendar MOD today. I imagine that it was not intended to be included in the left place of the Site Integration MOD... so I went in troubles with the name of 2 variables, and not the least ones : Forum_ID and Topic_ID. I had to use an additional variable to keep the values of them while the include of the header (with the calendar) was done. Otherwise if only 1 event was stored in the database I could only see it and no other topic of forum appeared :-( Finally works fine.

6- Changed some graphics

All of this took me 3 days ... (Must also say I'm not a beginner)

here is the result :

But what is the URL of the forum? Just curious as to see the information you do provide.

Cheers,

It says the URL in the screenshot: www.itu.int

I must say this is a good looking forum. I like the colours. I think you should change your login/lohout buttons because these don't look nice on your colour scheme. I recommend using the one's Snitz uses right now, they match your colour scheme perfectly. Other than that, it's a great looking site!

Thanks for your comments.

This is currently empty and an ongoing website project which is not yet finished. In addition it will not be opened to everybody. Only a limited and specific number of participants already registered at the last Telecom event (http://www.itu.int/ITUTELECOM/index.html).

Thanks Faizan I ll look to change the buttons, in addition I love this violet but I was told it's not in the official design so I will certainly change this violet to blue to fit with the header.
